LLSC Membership

Lanarkshire and Lothian Soaring Club is very active in promoting safe, enjoyable flying within Scotland. All members have access to a range of facilities aimed at encouraging everyone to both fly more and to fly more safely.

Standard club membership runs for 12 months from January to December each year and includes FREE windtalker access for the whole year PLUS membership of SHPF. Note that you need to fill in a new application form each year to ensure all details are up to date.

Reduced rate (but offering Full Membership benefits) for:

   - Flyers joining the club (as a new member) after July 1st

   - In particular, as we want to encourage new CP pilots to use the club environment as a means to progress safely, all newly qualified pilots.

Online Payment

You can now make payment by bank transfer (Details are included on the Application Form) but you must identify yourself using the payment Reference (and you still need to send a completed application form via email).

There are three categories of membership:

• Full Member
  Standard membershp with reduced fees if paid before the AGM. The fee for this category includes membership of the Scottish Hangliding and Paragliding Federation (SHPF).

• New Member
  Reduced subscription (approx 50%) for first-time members joining after July 1st.

• New Club Pilot
  Anyone able to show they have recently qualified gets full membership of the club for a whole 12 months at HALF PRICE, as we want to encourage new flyers to use the club environment to progress beyond their initial qualification.
