As many opinions sought as possible please
I'm 15 hrs post CP all on a 10yr old Apco fiesta2. After too many glasses of wine I 'accidentally' bought an 8yr old but apparently low airtime (25hrs) Gradient Aspen1. It seems pretty crispy so the hours might even be genuine Should I: 1. Sell it, the temptation to fly will be too much and even if i'm patient enough to wait until I've clocked another 20hours or more, the jump from a pedestrian DHV1 to a rather twitchy DHV2 will be too great 2. keep it, perhaps with a bit of supervision there's a fair chance that i'll be flying it this year 3. other suggestions? I should add that I paid £380 and if the consensus is to sell, then anyone who wants it can have it for roughly what I paid for it. I'd also like to get a new glider soonish, partly because my fiesta weighs about 7kg and I'm keen to get something lighter (4- 5kg). I have a light harness and want to take it on my boat this summer where space is a bit of an issue. (recommendations also welcome here - gin yeti?) many thanks Graham |
