Lanarkshire and Lothian Soaring Club Distance Trophy

(gleaned from a 1999 newsletter and in need of update - any one got 2000s info? Ed 2004 - again Ed2011)
Since 1977 the club has been awarding the distance trophy for longest flight from the Tinto area each year. The foot high wooden trophy is now covered with plaques for each year's best flight, an impressive record of the clubs history. Here's the roll call:

2010 Was Stewart Reid but now confirmed to be David Thomson (77.8km open distance from Tinto on 21 April 2010. Awarded at 2011 AGM)
