| Paragliders: Easy launch from anywhere on hill depending on wind strength. | |
| XC Tips: | Major boonies dominate the downwind landscape after 3-4kms. No site record. |
| Top Landing Notes: | Smooth flat top ideal for landing - no vices but beware of compressions at ends of the liftband |
| Bottom Landing Notes: | Hangliders: n/a | Paragliders: In the bottom field beside the road, but remember this is a training site where students have priority. Give them lots of room. |
| Hazards: | The main hazards are overhead power lines to North of landing field, and fences. Power wires should not be close enough to constitute a hazard, unless trying to land near cars. RAF often fly this area midweek. |
| Special Rules: | All permissions and liason via Peter Shields. Remember this is a school training site and first day students could be in the air. |
