| Launch Notes: | Hang-gliders: From Kinnesswood, follow the footpath straight up the hill to the top. Good even ground for launch. Beware of paragliders launching below the hang glider launch. |
| Paragliders: From Kinnesswood follow the footpath straight up the hill and launch from top or just below the hang gliding rigging area. Beware of HG's launching overhead. | |
| XC Tips: | Good site for XC, although the 40km to the North sea may be a limitation. 2006 XC league shows it's OK for triangles. |
| Top Landing Notes: | HG top landing is possible on the top plateau
but is not ideal as the ground is uneven in
places. Paragliders can top land anywhere but beware soft/uneven ground. |
| Bottom Landing Notes: | Hang gliders can land in any non-cropped field on S side of A911. | Paragliders can land in any non-cropped field on S side of A911 or in rough ground E of Kinnesswood. PG should not land on the golf course. Note that at certain times of year a nominated landing field may be chosen by agreement with the local farmers.
